Perform maintenance and repairs in both occupied and vacant units including but not limited to:
Complete routine and corrective maintenance in apartment homes and common areas, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and carpentry
Respond to service requests in a timely, professional, and resident-focused manner
Assist with apartment turns, including painting, scheduling, repairs, and general preparation for new move-ins
Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
Ensure that residents are provided with a clean, safe, and well-maintained community.
Report accidents and emergency situations to the Community Manager immediately.
Continually inspect property and record deficiencies. Discuss applicable repairs with Community
Manager.
Contribute to the success of the property team.
Maintain the appearance of the community by assisting with grounds and common area upkeep
Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies
Communicate effectively with residents, office staff, and supervisors
What We’re Looking For
Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in similar position/role
Prior multifamily maintenance experience preferred
Relatable hands-on experience in maintenance, construction, facilities, HVAC, or mechanical work
EPA certification
Ability to follow directions and work independently
Ability to lift 50lb, carry, climb stairs, and work both indoors and outdoors
Strong work ethic, reliability, and communication skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies
