Genie Garage Door Opener -- Screw Drive - $55 (very near Lawrence)

1/2 HP, Screw Drive, Two Remotes
Model number IS550/A. I replaced this out of a whim {got a new one on sale}, but it still works well. You can see it work, in person. Two remotes, light beam sender and receiver, wall button (all working), and installation/owner manual included.
One remote's case is wonky, and is missing the spring-steel visor clip. The "head unit's" white plastic light cover is cracked, but still works. Except for the factory-short-length test wires for the light beam and wall button (and the power cord), wiring is not included, nor are the to-overhead door mounting brackets (but the to-door J-hook, as shown, is included). So best is to use this as a replacement, or you can buy the needed parts elsewhere (via eBay, Amazon, Menards, Home Depot, etc.).
I had replaced the "carriage" (the black part, between the J-hook and long screw-beam) in the past, so that "wear part" should still have lots of life left.
The three red jackstands are not included. The opener is long (assembled, as shown), so it is best carried in a pickup, etc. truck. Or the long metal beam can be taken apart, but the screw-grease is very messy. Do clean then add grease to the screw when installing, and periodically as is described in the included manual.
