condition: good
make / manufacturer: Mustang
model name / number: 2050
This 1998 Mustang 2050 skid steer loader is an excellent machine. Powered by a 49 HP Yanmar diesel which purrs like a kitten and always fires up instantly. It only has 1630 hours on it (still using it from time to time, could climb). Very strong hydraulics with no leaks in any cylinders. The plate on it says it lifts 1550lbs, and I'm pretty sure that's understating it a good bit. Has auxiliary hydraulic hookups. Practically brand new tires too. I'm selling it because I bought it 3 years ago and have maybe put 20 hours on it at most. I don't have time to use it as much as I'd like to, and have other things now I'd rather put its money toward.

Here are all the details I can think of you'd want to know before coming to see / purchase it:

- Note in the photos the driving controls are with a single T-bar joystick (with pedals for the loader, as usual). Some people love this setup, and some people don't, and some people don't care either way. I find there's a lot of perks to it, such as being able to drive one handed. Ha! Many say it feels very "natural," and very easy to get used to, but it probably depends on what you're used to on whether you like it. There are videos online of people easily adapting these into the dual levers.

- It is a 1998, so that was before everyone adopted the standard "quick attach" developed by Bobcat. So this has a professionally welded conversion kit to adapt what was Mustang's (better) single handle design to utilize the now standard "quick attach" two handled system we all know. This makes it so it can be used with any attachment now. Original bucket is also adapted to now fit with new systerm. Works great!

- It has a throttle on the right and another lever on the left which controls the auxiliary hydraulics. Because I've never had another attachment, I've never utilized any of the aux system. I was told it worked when I bought it. I cannot verify it since all I've ever owned is the simple bucket.

- The seat doesn't have a seatbelt and it could use a new seat perhaps, but it's not bad enough to make me buy one.

*** Lastly, I could deliver this anywhere if you were to pay for the delivery. Photos were taken in Oklahoma, where I originally had this / used this on our family farm. It's now being moved to Lawrence, KS, and then in a month or so, to east of Springfield, MO, where I'm buying another farm. ***
