Located NE KS
We’re selling our A2/A2 Jersey cow Penny. She is in milk and bred back.
Penny is 3 years old, just a few inches taller than a mini, and has been absolutely great for our family. She’s A2/A2, super gentle, and is milked daily—both by hand and with a machine, although she’s better suited to machine milking because she has slightly short teats. Disease tested negative when we purchased her last year. She’s easy to be around, easy to milk, and stays in great condition on pasture with minimal grain. Rotationally grazed, hot wire trained.

Penny is bred back and due in January to a 3/4 Jersey, 1/4 Montbéliarde calf.
We raise our animals naturally, no vaccines, and on a rotational grazing system. Great low maintenance cow.

We’ve loved having this her on our farm and it’s been a difficult decision to sell her, but we are getting into dairy goats and I need to focus on one thing. Would be an ideal cow for someone wanting to get into a smaller jersey and she is a great beginner cow. We have been calf sharing and milking OAD. We get 1-1.5 gallons a day right now doing this and she will go up in production next cycle. She will go up once you take her because she won’t have her calf on her all day anymore. This calf was her first and she calved with ease.

Asking $3850. I have my stanchion and milk machine I could do a package deal with for $4100 total. We are near Lawrence ks.
