I have hatching eggs out of stock that I’ve hatched several chicks from this summer, and they’ve turned out beautiful. The rooster is cream Legbar and leghorn mixed with Easter egger, and the hens are black Sumatra, Egyptian Fayoumi, Andalusian, Dominique, blue copper maran, green queen, and cinnamon queen. The first three listed are amazing breeds because they have great free ranging/ foraging skills. They descend from landrace birds (meaning their bloodlines feature natural selection) in Indonesia, Egypt, and Spain, so they are well suited for a free range environment, and incredibly graceful, unlike clumsy heavier breeds. Most if not all of the offspring will carry the rooster’s blue egg gene, making their eggs olive, light blue, or green. They are descent to exceptional layers.
Hatching eggs are $8 per dozen
I will also have a few pullets and cockerels ready for outside available in a few weeks
