This Queen-sized bed was custom made by a craftsman in Kansas City. It is solid cherry wood, as are the 2 end tables. There is no other material used on the bed or tables other than solid Cherry wood. The woodworking is very good.
BED DETAILS:
• The canopy slats are removable to create just a 4-poster bed.
• There are solid wood support board on both sides and end of bed.
• The bed had several wooden slats that will support the box springs and/or mattress.
• Using a mattress and box springs makes it a delightful HIGH Bed and there are matching stairs to climb into it if needed.
NOTE: If you wish to add a bed skirt, it requires a 21-inch drop bedskirt.
• Screw holes designed to not damage wood.
• Has decorative hardware to hide screws.
• Measurements: Length = 86” Width = 65” Height in pics = 85”
TABLE DETAILS
• 2 side tables, solid cherry wood.
• 1 drawer
• Measurements: Width = 18” Lenfth = 22” Height = 29”
This bed can have a modern look or historical look, depending on choice of bedding and room design. It is very solid and sturdy.
This is an excellent excellent price!! (The bed and tables were made about 25 years ago which demonstrates the value of custom work and solid good wood. This bed was made to become an heirloom for years to come.)
