Since the Topeka chapter of the EAA closed down, a few of us have started a new Experimental Aircraft builders group in Lawrence ks, and I was wondering if anyone else is interested in joining this Experimental Aircraft builders group in the Lawrence area? This is not an official EAA chapter, though we have been invited to attend some chapter meetings in the area, it's just a group of guys interested and building and flying and are looking for active builders to learn from or help with projects, share tools and info ect.... Right now we have over 30 members, most with planes, or projects. Meetings are every couple months or so, mostly at member houses, so we can see what they are working on or have been doing research on. I have a Kitfox-4 under construction right now myself. I have also done metal aircraft.
email me back if interested, include your contact info and direct email address for the news letters.
