Upgraded, Customized Char-Broil 39" Wide x 18 " Deep Offset Smoker, insulated with bricks, in great working condition, only minor cosmetic wear. Asking only $30. Local pickup near Emporia Kansas.
It has been insulated with bricks. A brick tunnel was created for this. The greatly improves it's heat retention and functionality. A dryer hose was installed as part of the upgrade process. It lowers the outlet height for the smoke, keeping the warmer air in the smoker. This improves the heat retention. Once you warm this up, there is no problem with it maintaining a steady temp. The bricks also help to evenly radiate heat. It could use a new grate for the fire chamber. I put vintage John Deer steel toy tractor wheels on the legs. The tractor wheels are the vintage ones from the 1980s. This helps to move the smoker. I also created a wooden rack on the bottom. This made the legs much more sturdy vs the original thin wire race (which is still in place under the custom wood rack).
This can take all wood (which is how I used it) or charcoal or a mix of both. Included is a charcoal starter chimney and a water pan (bread pan).
