Hi, my name is Christine Zimmer, check me out on meetup.com, I want to start an autism support group that will meet somewhere convenient in Eudora Kansas. I am a parent of a 4 yr old boy, Dylan who has PDD-NOS. I want to start a support group for parents and their children to come together to make a difference. We can meet and brainstorm ideas on interventions, etc. I also want to provide some professional help as we know some support from different areas of expertise in the field of autism. Eudora, lets come together and make a difference. I dont want to drive 5, 10, or even 20 miles, when we can have this support right here in our home town, our children can come together for playgroups. I am willing to share my home, and have this in my basement until we find a more permanent venue, as my goal is to help people know they are not alone, our child are not alone either. There are some wonderful people right here in Eudora, people lets come together and make a difference in our childrens and other childrens lives!
